CACI to assist Army with signals intelligence

CACI International Inc. will assist the Army in providing lightweight tactical signals intelligence and electronic warfare systems to troops on the battlefield under a three-year, $23 million contract.

The Strategic Services Sourcing contract will enable CACI to continue its support of the Army Project Director for Signals Warfare, which provides troops with intelligence products and electronic systems. The military unit also produces systems that enable soldiers to counter the threat of radio-controlled improvised explosive devices using state-of-the-art technology to break the link between IEDs and the devices that trigger them.

The Arlington, Va., federal contractor currently provides the Army Project Director for Signals Warfare with testing support and acquisition, logistics, training, engineering and quick-reaction capabilities. CACI also helps the unit continually evolve its signals warfare solutions to meet ever-changing IED threats.

CACI International ranks No. 17 on Washington Technology’s 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
